Little Bobbie
Little Bobbie was a blue-eyed blond haired 10 year old when he first decided that he wanted to be president of the USA and told his mother about it. He pitched in the little league baseball league and was pretty good.
He first heard about alternative lifestyles – at school. He accepted what he was told and didn’t talk to his parents about it. They never knew he was told these things at school.
When he was 14, an older boy approached him and offered him drugs. The older boy then used pornography to seduce Bobbie into a homosexual relationship. During the sex act Bobbie's body produced a form of oxytocin, one of the most powerful addictive drugs known to man. When God says “thou shalt not” – this is one of the reasons why, to protect us from ourselves. Bobbie liked the way it made him feel so he began to believe that he was a homosexual.
His parents inadvertently found out about what was going on – and they had a showdown with Bobbie – only to discover that he claimed the school taught him that this behavior was okay. His parents then went to the school and confronted the administration, where they were rebuked for interfering in Bobbie’s personal life.
His parents then sued the NEA for damages and their suit was thrown out of court by a left wing liberal-minded judge. As time went by they continued to complain to the school about the situation. Eventually the school administration threatened to turn the case over to a social worker who had the authority to remove Bobbie from their home for child abuse.
In their despair they finally opened up to their pastor – who was moved with indignation about what had occurred. He sought God on the matter, and was moved by the Holy Spirit to preach a fiery sermon about the dangers of Hell fire and damnation; strongly denouncing the immoral sexual practices of our community, including homosexual behavior.
A liberal-minded congregant who heard the sermon notified the federal authorities that her preacher was spreading hate. Three nights later a party of federal officials arrived at the preacher’s home and arrested him in the dark of night. He was convicted of a hate crime and sentenced to a five year stay in the local penitentiary.
Because of the strong response of the local school authorities and the federal authorities, no one else stood up for Bobbie and repudiated the public square advice that he had been given. Two years later he acquired the AIDS virus.
For the next twelve years society paid approximately $30,000 dollars per year to treat Bobbie and try to save his life. When he was 30 years old, he died, despite the many efforts to save his life. He died without Christ – blaming God for his condition.
When he stood before God – he was rejected because he did not acquire salvation by faith in Christ.
Throughout his young life Bobbie was never able to hold a job, he never had any children or a family of his own. He never contributed anything back into society for all that he received. In his own heart and mind, he was a loser, and his life was meaningless. He died broken and forgotten by all except for a few family members and friends.
His family was devastated. His brother, who tried repeatedly to talk some sense into him, seriously considered a violent overthrow of the government.
His pastor never again preached a sermon, because no one wanted an ex-convict in their pulpit.
His parents lived out the rest of their lives in social isolation, dejection and fear of the authorities. The hole in their hearts never healed.
These things will happen to someone’s children, their grandchildren, tomorrow, because we did nothing today.
